On Thursday evening, August 1, 2024, 15 Palestinian citizens were martyred and others were injured in a new massacre committed by the Israeli occupation, by bombing a school sheltering displaced people in the Shujaiya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.

Local sources reported that the occupation warplanes bombed the "Dalal al-Mughrabi" school, which houses displaced people, next to the Sabha al-Harazin clinic in the Shujaiya neighborhood, which resulted in the martyrdom of 15 citizens, including children and women, and the injury of 50 others, who were transferred to the "Baptist" Al-Ahli Arab Hospital in the city.

The sources indicated that the occupation warplanes bombed the school with three missiles, which led to its complete destruction on the heads of the displaced.
