Seventeen citizens were martyred in the Gaza Strip, including children and women, and 60 citizens were injured, some seriously, after the occupation shelled the Al-Hamama and Al-Huda schools, which shelter displaced persons in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, west of Gaza City. The schools were sheltering thousands of displaced people.

The occupation warplanes bombed Hamama School a second time with three missiles, while ambulance and civil defense crews were working to evacuate the martyrs and the injured from the school.

A medical source at the "Baptist" hospital in Gaza City reported the arrival of a number of martyrs and wounded, including children, as a result of the occupation warplanes' bombing of Hamama School.
