On Sunday, August 30, 2024, 30 citizens were martyred and others were injured when the occupation warplanes targeted Al-Nasr and Hassan Salama schools in Al-Nasr neighborhood in Gaza City. The two schools shelter displaced people in Al-Nasr neighborhood, west of Gaza City, and a group of citizens in Al-Zaytoun neighborhood, southeast of the city.

Palestinian and Arab media reported that the martyrs and wounded were taken to the Baptist Hospital in the city.
