On Thursday, 15 citizens were martyred and at least 30 were injured in a massacre committed by the Israeli occupation forces by targeting two schools sheltering displaced people in the Al-Tuffah area, east of Gaza City.
A local source reported that the occupation warplanes bombed Al-Zahraa and Abdel Fattah Hamoud schools, east of Gaza City, which led to the death of dozens of martyrs and the injured, in addition to a number of missing persons.
According to witnesses, the remains of the martyrs were scattered everywhere, and civil defense and rescue crews rushed to the scene and began recovering the bodies of the martyrs and evacuating the injured to the Baptist Hospital in Gaza.
In an initial toll, the Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip said that its crews recovered 7 martyrs in the targeting of "Al-Zahraa" school and 5 martyrs in the targeting of "Abdel Fattah Hamoud" school, east of Gaza City
