Academician Rahaf Abu Said Hanideq is a Palestinian refugee from Syria, where she spent her entire life, and she and her family returned to the Gaza Strip with the start of the Syrian revolution in 2011. She is a lecturer at the Islamic University in Gaza, teaching courses at the Faculty of Fundamentals of Religion, an educational supervisor for Acre Secondary School, a sports member at the UNRWA Women's Center for Cultural and Sports Activities in Khan Younis, a member of the Palestinian Elders' Assembly, and a member of the Women's Affairs Committee.
