Omar Farwaneh served as dean of the Faculty of Medicine at the Islamic University of Gaza and co-founded the "Public Service" and "Friends of the Patient" hospitals in Gaza, after receiving his Bachelor of Medicine from Cairo University, his PhD from Leeds University, one of the leading universities in the United Kingdom, and his internship at the University of Western Australia, giving him 30 years of experience in infertility and IVF treatment.
